Councilman Kersey said that he was “I’m proud to recognize NFAR for giving these talented, sometimes overlooked individuals an opportunity to learn in an environment designed for their success. Everyone deserves the chance to become self-sufficient and contribute to the workplace in their unique way.”
At NFAR, were are so very honored and appreciative to receive this recognition for our work in the community and for our inclusive employment efforts with the NFAR Tech Program. To date NFAR Tech has created 32 internship positions, with over 20 more internships pending. But, there's a lot more to be done.

On Tuesday, Councilman Mark Kersey and Members of the City Council proclaimed April 10th to be NFAR Day in the city of San Diego.
